Boxing Day Buzz

Did anyone attend any of the Boxing Day Crazy Sales this year? It was crazy! Chadstone was packed, with sales crazy people & I was one of them! At 9am, the carpark was full, and I thought I was there early. The sales weren't that great actually, and I don't think people actually realised that NOT ALL items are on sales. It's hard to differentiate what item is on Sale & what's NOT, thus most people just paid for any items they can get their hands on. * Silly people, but I can totally undestand them. Everyone wants a piece of  the bargains!

Who can POSSIBLY resist not going into a store especially the size of the word *SALES* has been enlarged & is all over the store. Everyone seems crazy, they have the *Crazy Eyes*.

The craziest part, I was there for 7 hours, despite the large crowds, random farters (it stinkss) in the stores, and the heat. My rewards were:  1 French Connection Top
                                                  2 Portmans Top
                                                  Peter Alexander Pjs
& ooooh my favourites of the bunch, my  Pleasure States Lingerie goodies

The best thing about op shopping , is not the checking out process at the counter, rather it's the searching process which makes op shopping so much fun. Is it just me, but everytime I'm on the road  to go op shopping, I feel butterflies in my tummy. It's like having your first kiss all over again, enjoying that magical moment before it happens& wondering what 'll happens after. Leaves you feeling anxious & excited at the same time. I enjoy shopping at the smaller opp shops, the more hidden they are , the better. It's like having a large untouched treasure chest full of treasures, just waiting there for me to dig through. Well, like first kisses, you don't always get what you've been expecting for, same goes for Life & Opp Shopping.
So often, when you set your expectations at a high level, what you tend to get back is disappointment. Whereas, when you don't have any expectations, it's always a surprise what you'll get .I bought some Dan Brown books & a book titled Memoirs of a Geisha at my local opp shop at a really affordable price. I'm re reading Memoirs of a Geisha, have not watched the movie though.. I tend to favour reading the actual books more than watching the movies, because most of the time the books tend to tell a better story than the movie actually does. And I've also managed to grab myself some adorable figurines. A monkey that looks like an owl, which has traditional Chinese Wordings translated to "Opening Luck", I'm assuming it has something to do with opening my pathway to Luck and of course my bambi figurines, just had to get it!
